She is zealous about the smallest details, and orchestrating an unforgettable celebrations. Angella’s educational background focused on families and the social services field, thus increasing her passion for people. She wanted to transfer her skills to industry that was centred on love, hope and memorable celebrations, so she turned to the world of weddings and to the people that are committing their loves to each other. In addition to her enthusiasm for people and those embarking on the journey of marriage, Angella demonstrates an incredible source of help, support and expertise, helping to make the wedding planning experience fun and exciting! Born a ‘social butterfly’, Debbie quickly channelled her natural talent for arranging memorable family and friend gatherings that are recognized for their distinctive decor, entertainment and great food, into establishing Fresh Events – a social event planning company with offices located in Barrie & abroad. A member of Wedding Planners Institute of Canada, and a recognized member of the wedding Industry Experts and a graduate of George Washington University in Event Management, Debbie brings over 12 years of creative detail-oriented wedding and event planning to every personal and professional gathering.

Why should I hire a wedding consultant?

For many couples, it is their very first time planning a wedding. They are confused as to where to begin, how much everything costs, and how to choose vendors. Planning a wedding is not only about choosing your colors, flowers, and menu. There are logistical matters to attend to such as the timing of events, parking situations, and knowing which vendors are reputable. We are here to guide you and to take care of all of these concerns. We are able to help save you time and money as well as your sanity so you can actually enjoy your wedding day!

Do you have a business license? Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, Fresh Events is a registered business and holds general liability insurance.

What types of weddings do you accommodate?

What wedding planning services do you offer?

Do you charge for an initial consultation?

Our initial consultations are complimentary. This is a chance for us to better understand your style, vision and what services best suit your needs.

What additional types of events do you service?

Anniversaries, Baby Showers / Milestones, Bar / Bat Mitzvahs, Birthdays, Bridal Showers, Corporate Events, Engagement Parties, Graduations, Holiday Parties, , Proms, Quinceaneras, Sweet 16's. Any type pf party needs Fresh on scene!

How much communication will we have?

We have a policy to respond to all emails and phone messages in a timely manner. We will respond to all messages within 24 business hours.

How many weddings or events will you coordinate per day?

Fresh Events will only take one wedding or event per day per wedding consultant.

Will you be at my actual wedding day?

Absolutely. The wedding consultant you’ve contracted with will personally be at your event along with an assistant.

How many assistants will you have on my wedding day?

One consultant and at least one assistant will be at your wedding. We will have more assistants should you have multiple locations, a large bridal party, and a large guest count.

Will you eat and drink during the reception and how comfortable will you make yourself?

Since weddings can turn into 10, 12, and even 14 hour days, vendor meals during your reception are much appreciated. However, we are there to do a job and will absolutely not drink any alcohol or join your guests on the dance floor.

We specialize in making your sweet dreams come true! Fresh & Sweet Carts offer a second to none experience with carts for hire. The carts come fully stocked with your desires; candy buffet, smore’s bar, candy apple, ice cream and more! We can design cart buffets to suit your occasion and compliment your colour theme. We cater to a variety of events and tailor each service according to individual needs. This service includes napkins, serving ware and other unique finishing touches to create your perfect atmosphere.

DIY Envy

With an endless amount of resources available, many people incorporate Do-It- Yourself elements into their events and we LOVE that!
